Riley S. Lietzau, 6, of Sparta died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Sparta as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on February 27, 2000 in La Crosse to Troy Lietzau and Nicole Nielsen. He lived in Sparta with his parents and attended Maplewood Kindergarten.

     He is survived by his mother, Nicole Nielsen of Sparta; his father, Troy (Michelle) Lietzau of Sparta; brothers, Corey Denton of Sparta, Jaydon Lietzau of Sparta; maternal grandparents, Rick and Kristine Nielsen of Milwaukee; paternal grandparents, Harold and Connie Lietzau of Sparta; maternal great grandparents, Jerry and Sharon Muller of Greenfield, WI, Warren and Karen Walsh of Waseca, MN, and paternal great grandmother, Yvonne Colburn of Onalaska.

     He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, and maternal great grandparents.

     Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sparta with Reverend Matthew Toso officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sparta.

     Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

     The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
