Loretta E. Feasel, 80, of Sparta died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Sparta. She was born on May 31, 1925 in the Township of Little Falls, Monroe County, Wisconsin to Harold and Elizabeth (Berry) Cody. She grew up in the Township of Little Falls on a farm near Cataract. Loretta moved to Milwaukee to work and to go to high school.

     She married Wilbert Westphal in 1946 in Milwaukee. They moved to Key Largo, Florida in the late 1950’s and then moved to Central Florida in 1980. Wilbert passed away in March of 1989.

     She married Charles Feasel in October of 1990 in Florida. They lived in Indiana for one year. He passed away on June 17, 1996. Loretta moved back to Sparta in October of 1996.

     She was a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post Auxiliary and past president of Post #4423.

     She is survived by her sisters, Adeline Isensee of Sparta, Doris Turville of Madison; nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-children.

     In addition to her two husbands she was preceded in death by her parents.

     Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta with Chaplain Dean Staffanson officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Merton Lisbon Cemetery, Merton, Wisconsin.

     Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home on Thursday (today)from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

     The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
