Miranda S. Laufenberg, 26, of  St. Paul, MN and formerly of Sparta, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in St. Paul, MN.  She was born on December 11, 1981 in La Crosse, WI to  Ronald and Susan (Bue) Laufenberg. 

     She grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School in 2000.  She moved to St. Paul, MN and attended the University of Minnesota and also Argosy College in St. Paul taking courses to be a Veterinarian Technician.  She loved animals.

     She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Susan Laufenberg of Sparta; a brother, Travis (fiance, Amy) Laufenberg of Carthage, NY; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Erma Bue of Black River Falls, WI; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

     She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Godfrey and Octavia Laufenberg.

     Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta with Father James Leary O.F.M. Cap. officiating.  Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery, in Alma Center, WI.

     Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
