Theresa A. Januesheske, 73, of Cataract, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, La Crosse. She was born on March 28, 1935 in Middle Ridge, La Crosse County, WI to John and Frances (Gruber) Kick. She grew up in the Middle Ridge area and attended school in Middle Ridge and Bangor.

     Theresa married Richard Januesheske on October 1, 1957 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta. After marriage, they lived in the Sparta area. She worked at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta, for 9 years. She then owned and operated the Mill Pond Tavern in Cataract for 5 years before retiring.

     She is survived by her husband, Richard Januesheske of Cataract; her children, Pauline (Larry) Whitehead of Sparta, Mary Januesheske of Sparta, Dennis (Shannon) Januesheske of Florence, SC, and Dean (Diane) Januesheske of Hayward, WI; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents.

     There will be no services at this time.    

     The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
