Eunice R. Lueck

Eunice R. (Prochaska) Lueck was called to her eternal home Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at 88 years of life. She was born in Wilton, Wisconsin to parents Albert and Elsie (Albright) Prochaska on September 5, 1917. She graduated from Tomah High School in 1935 and was united in marriage to Everett Lueck on September 4, 1937. Eunice taught nursery school in La Crosse and was a member of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church. In 1957, her family moved to Sparta, Wisconsin where they owned and operated the Korner Bakery until 1975. She was secretary of both the Business and Professional Woman’s Club and the Golf Association and was a member of St. John’s Ev Lutheran Church in Sparta. The past few years she has lived in Delafield, Wisconsin near her daughter and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Pewaukee. Survivors include a daughter, Janet (Robert) Sandlass of Wales, WI; a son, Clint (Judy) Lueck of Maple Plain, MN; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Doris) Prochaska of Tomah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1995. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Ev Lutheran Church, Sparta, with Reverend Mark Wessel and Reverend Richard Krause officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Ev Lutheran Cemetery, Sparta. Family and friends are invited to call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services. The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
