Donna M. Olson, 65, of La Crosse and formerly of Sparta, died Friday, May 26, 2006 in La Crosse. She was born on November 12, 1940  in the Township of Burns, La Crosse, County, Wisconsin to Anton and Laura Mae (Losching) Olson. She grew up in the Town of Burns area and graduated from Bangor High School in 1958. She married Richard Knoll on December 17, 1960. They were later divorced. She lived in Sparta, Bangor and then LaCrosse. Donna had worked at Northern Engraving Company and then at Spartek. She has lived in La Crosse the past two years. Donna enjoyed traveling.

     She is survived by her children, Debra (Paul) Abraham of Bangor, Rose (Milt) Leis of Sparta, Kevin (Verena) Knoll of Ontario, WI, Pamela (Edward) McCloskey of Bellevue, NB, Timothy (Alyssa) Knoll of EauClaire, WI; her mother, Laura Mae Olson of Rockland; three brothers, William Olson of Rockland, Mike (Cindy) Hanson of French Island, Calvin Olson of Shoreview, MN; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a special friend, Dale Indahl of Bangor.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Anton.

     Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bells Coulee Lutheran Church, rural Bangor with Reverend Ron Nowland officiating. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery, rural Bangor.

     Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
