Judith A. (Carlone) Bohn, 67, of Sparta died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in her home. She was born in Sparta on June 12, 1941 to Ray and Beverly (Fritsch) Carlone. She grew up in Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School in 1959.  She went on to Cosmetology School in Eau Claire, WI and worked as a beautician at Corrine’s Beauty Shop and Rolling Hills Nursing home in Sparta.

     On November 18, 1961 she was united in marriage to William J. Bohn at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta.

     Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She was known for her generous soul and caring spirit.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing bingo with her friends, and going to the movies with the love of her life, Bill.

     She was a charter member of the Sparta Eagles Club Auxiliary Aerie 2833 and St. Theresa’s Altar Society.

     She is survived by her husband, William J. Bohn of Sparta; son, Raymond “Chub” (Letty) Bohn of Brownsville, TX; a daughter, Kim (Michael) Mulvaney of Sparta; her grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa (John), Matt (Megan), Summer, James, and great grandson, George; two sisters, Linda (Dick) Yanke of Sparta, and Patty (John) Donald of Brownbury, IN; and her two brothers, Larry Carlone of Sparta, and Nick (Marla) Carlone of Sparta; many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly (Fritsch) Carlone; her father, Raymond Carlone; a sister, Mary Jo Carlone; and brother, Ricky Carlone.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta with Father James Leary O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Sparta.

     Friends may call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
